One of the primary focuses of our agency is to improve the lives and living conditions of children who are in orphanages or social welfare institutions. Our commitment is to helping children ... all children. The lives of the children who find loving homes because of our efforts will be forever enriched. However, the children who remain in the orphanages are often the children who need our help the most. We have developed many different programs aimed at improving the lives of these children.

Madison Adoption Associates is pleased to be involved in humanitarian aid programs and projects. We believe our commitment to humanitarian aid illustrates the mission, care and concern of our organization, our adoptive families and our staff.

The assistance provided by Madison Adoption Associates includes sending funds, clothing, toys, medicine and other supplies to facilities that care for children. Madison is extremely committed to our charitable work. Within the past years, we have participated in numerous charitable projects in various countries.

Before Guatemala closed to intercountry adoptions, we provided monetary aid for vaccinations for orphans, sent donations to sponsor AIDS orphanages, and helped provide supplies to a local elementary school.

 

 

 

When China was affected by severe weather in early 2008, we immediately sent a donation of $5000 to Half the Sky Foundation to help orphanages that were suffering. We started a fundraising campaign for our clients that resulted in an additional $4095 sent to Half the Sky Foundation for their emergency fund.

MAA has helped over 1200 children be united in happy families through the Madison Adoption programs. These children have received the opportunity of a lifetime – to have a warm, safe, and permanent home. Many more children will spend their entire childhood in an orphanage, with little hope of a loving family or a home to call their own.

MAA is committed to humanitarian assistance for all countries where we work. We encourage our families to do the same. To fulfill this goal, we collect a $500 charitable fee from each family to be donated to their child’s country of origin. We also give substantial portion of our agency fees to charitable aid.
